I’m Vanessa Cunha – an Interactive Media Creator passionate about crafting engaging and personal experiences. With a background in sports media, game design, and production, I specialize in blending design, storytelling, and technology to create immersive content. Whether it's motion graphics in a packed arena, live television broadcast production, or interactive gaming elements, my goal is always the same: to capture attention, spark emotion, and make memorable media experiences.

My Journey

I’m currently earning a Bachelor of Science in Game Design and Production and a Master of Science in Digital Media at Drexel University. My professional experience spans across NBC Sports (Golf Channel), Madison Square Garden Sports, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, where I’ve worked in live production, motion graphics, and entertainment media. My passion for interactive media is deeply personal. As a two-time pediatric cancer survivor, I grew up relying on media as a source of escape, inspiration, and connection—especially during times when my health limited my physical abilities. This experience shaped my commitment to creating accessible, meaningful media that resonates with all audiences.

Beyond Design

Outside of my creative work, I have a strong background in music and audio engineering, having studied as a vocalist in high school at the OCVTS Grunin Performing Arts Academy. I am also a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation as a Make-A-Wish New Jersey Alumni. Through GDF, I’ve had the incredible honors of performing at Radio City Music Hall, the New York Rangers’ Hockey Fights Cancer Night (National Anthem), and the New York Rangers Casino Night (to name a few)! I have a personal passion for music production, and I utilize these skills both in and out of the workplace to further amplify immersion in entertainment.
