ANIMATIONS

Below are both 2D and 3D animations I have created, allowing me to learn and practice animation principles and strategies that relate to other areas of my content and projects.

3D ANIMATIONS

ROBOT THEATER

This study allowed for me to fully rig a character to animate for the first time, teaching me how to make controllers and to bind skin to make accurate and semi-realistic movements.

BROOKLYN 99 INANIMATE OBJECTS

This was my first time formally learning how to animate 3D objects, beginning with inanimate toys. All objects and textures used were completely created by me. This aims to replicate the cold open scene from Brooklyn 99 that the audio is derived from.

2D ANIMATIONS

upBRINGING

2D animation I made for my Design II for Media class at Drexel University. The animation shows complementary color contrasts while simultaneously showcasing a story between a mother and child. Although they don't see eye-to-eye at first, they learn to understand each other for their differences.

cat.

A silly animation made for my Design for Media I final project about a curious cat! This animation challenged using black and white values along with perspective and size. The music in the animation was made myself, meant to complement the motion.

software used!

  • Used for all modeling and 3D animation, along with rigging and camera movements.

  • Used for creating textures and materials for 3D objects in the animations.

  • Used for creating all 2D animations.

  • Free online software used for creating the song made in the β€œcat.” animation.
